February 16 Lyons, IL Annual WWII Days at the George Washington Middle School. This program was a tremendous success the last two years and it could not have been so without your help. The school is seeking volunteers who would be willing to share their abundance of World War II knowledge (along with any great WWII memorabilia) with these students. Depending on the amount of memorabilia (such as uniforms, patches, medals, weaponry, etc.), or type of presentation given, volunteers will be assigned different 8th grade classrooms to use for their rotations. April 13-15 Camp Atterbury, IN CA 24-36 hour tactical battle at Atterbury. Barracks are available, but they are hoping for all units to deploy in the field and stay there. Contact Alan Jones for more information.
April 20-21 Irish Hills, MI Annual Stage Coach Stop event. Details to follow.
April 27-29 St. Louis MO Annual WWII Weekend at the historic Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis County. This is the 35th year for this event and will be hosted by the 2nd Rangers Infantry Battalion. There will be a free dinner meal to all registered reenactors on Friday. The weekend consists of three public reenactments, public displays, a canteen dance and much more. May 5-6, Lowell, IN Annual WWAnnuWWII Tribute at Bu - 3606 Belshaw Road. HRS Event sponsored by US 9th Infantry, the 353rd German Infantry and the 2629th WAC Battalion. Registration deadline is April 13 with NO onsite registration. Contact County Parks or see their website more information.
